1 GENERAL OBJECTIVE
 – Implantation of acupuncture points combining traditional and modern methods, is carried out by using a strange protein (catgut thread) buried in acupoints to prevent and cure diseases. Only cattgut is a self-dissolving thread that is a protein in nature, so in the process of self-dissolving it always creates mechanical stimulation on the acupoint, promoting the healing effect of that acupoint.

3 CONTRAINDICATIONS
 - The body is exhausted, the resistance is reduced, pregnant women.
 The skin in the acupoint area is infected or has a skin disease.
 – Allergy to Catgut thread.
4 PREPARATION:
4.1. Executor: Doctors and medical practitioners trained in the specialty of traditional medicine shall be granted practice certificates in accordance with the law on medical examination and treatment.
4.2. Vehicle:
 – Pan, scissors, cotton, antiseptic alcohol, sterile gauze, iodine alcohol, adhesive tape.
 – Spinal puncture needle size G18, Catgut thread No. 2/0 for adults; needle, only guarantee sterility.
 – G20 size spinal puncture needle, 3/0 Catgut thread for children; needle, only guarantee sterility.
 – Enamel tray, clip with clip, cotton gauze bandage
 - Anti-shock pill box.
4.3. Patient
 - Patients are examined and medical records are made according to regulations.
 - The patient lies in a comfortable position, choosing a position so that the implanted area is only revealed most clearly.
5 PROCESSING STEPS
5.1. Tips :
 - Wash hands and wear sterile gloves.
 – Cut Catgut thread into pieces about 1cm. Thread the thread into the barrel of the needle.
 - Determine the exact acupoint for thread implantation. Disinfection of the acupoint.
 – Insert the needle quickly through the skin and push it slowly to the point.
 – Push the needle barrel to lay the thread in the acupoint, place sterile gauze on the point just implanted, press your hand up and then pull out the needle, stick an adhesive bandage on it to keep the gauze.
 - Pay attention to many acupuncture points in the eye area, so be careful when doing the procedure to avoid damage to the eyeball or bleeding.
5.3 Treatment course:
 – Each implantation of Catgut only works for about 7-10 days, after the time the patient comes for the next course of treatment.
6 TRACKING AND TREATMENT OF HAZARDS
6.1. Monitoring: Patient's condition during each procedure.
6.2. Handling accidents:
 – Bleeding: Use sterile dry cotton gauze to press on the spot, do not rub.
 – Pain and swelling at the implant site: hot compress, anti-edema medication or oral antibiotics if infection is suspected.
